The Winnick Family Foundation was founded in 1983 by Karen and her husband, financier and philanthropist Gary Winnick. Grants and gifts from the family and foundation focus on education, literacy, health care, art, culture, animal welfare, the environment and the needs of the worldwide Jewish community.
